Background

The story

LEGO revealed its Scuderia Ferrari HP helmet sets for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc on 5 March 2026 at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, where life-size brick-built versions made by Ryan "The Brickman" McNaught were carried through the paddock. Pre-orders opened the same day and the sets went on sale on 1 May 2026.

LEGO describes the model as inspired by Hamilton's F1 helmets over the years, and its launch announcement says the two Ferrari sets are based on the drivers' 2025 helmets. It is built in Ferrari's Modena yellow, a colour LEGO notes Hamilton has worn since joining Ferrari, with printed decorations including his number 44.

Yellow is a return to his roots: Hamilton's karting helmets were mostly yellow, and he raced yellow designs early in his Formula One career before switching to white in 2014.

The set includes a Lewis Hamilton minifigure in his red Scuderia Ferrari HP race suit, the first Hamilton minifigure LEGO has made, plus a plaque with his signature. Finished, it stands over 18 cm high, 11 cm wide and 13 cm deep.
