Lewis Hamilton Helmet

Monza 2025 was Lewis Hamilton's first Italian Grand Prix as a Ferrari driver, and Ferrari used the weekend to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Niki Lauda's first world title. Hamilton marked it with his first special helmet since joining the team: his yellow design, reworked with white streaks along the sides and a white section at the rear, carrying "NIKI LAUDA" on both sides along with Ferrari's historic rectangular Prancing Horse badge.

The tribute was personal. Lauda played a pivotal role in Hamilton's move to Mercedes, and when Lauda died before the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix, Hamilton raced there in a red-and-white helmet in his honour.

Born in Stevenage on 7 January 1985, Hamilton debuted with McLaren in 2007 and won his first title in 2008. His seven World Championships equal Michael Schumacher's record, and he holds the records for most wins and pole positions. He had already won the Italian GP five times before driving for Ferrari.
