Background

The story

The Ferrari 499P is the Le Mans Hypercar that brought Ferrari back to top-class sports car racing in 2023. It uses a 2,992 cc twin-turbo V6 plus a 200 kW electric motor on the front axle.

At the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans on 15-16 June, the No. 50 car of Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen won after 311 laps, 14.2 seconds ahead of the No. 7 Toyota. It was Ferrari's 11th overall Le Mans win and its second in a row.
