Background
The story
Lando Norris, born in Bristol on 13 November 1999, won the European Formula 3 title in 2017 and finished runner-up to George Russell in Formula 2 in 2018. A McLaren junior since 2017, he made his Formula One debut with the team at the 2019 Australian Grand Prix, alongside Carlos Sainz Jr.
His childhood hero was Valentino Rossi, whose fluorescent-yellow helmet inspired Norris's own designs throughout his career.
