Background

The story

The McLaren MCL39 was designed under Rob Marshall for 2025 and driven by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. It was consistently the fastest car, won the Constructors' title again, and took Norris to the Drivers' Championship, the first for McLaren since Lewis Hamilton in 2008.

Norris went into the final round at Yas Marina on 7 December 2025 leading on 408 points, with Verstappen on 396 and Piastri on 392. Third place was enough: he became World Champion by two points. Minichamps' 1:18 resin set includes a standing Norris figurine and two pitboards.
