Background

The story

The McLaren MP4/13 was designed by Adrian Newey, Steve Nichols, Neil Oatley and Henri Durand for 1998. It was the dominant car of the season: Mika Häkkinen won eight races on the way to his first Drivers' title. Häkkinen, "the Flying Finn", went on to win again in 1999.
