Background

The story

The second-generation BMW M2, codenamed G87, made its public debut at Motorclassica in Melbourne in October 2022 and went on sale in April 2023. Compared with the first M2, its wheelbase is 53 mm longer, and the car is 100 mm longer and 33 mm wider overall.

At launch the M2 was offered in five colours, including Zandvoort Blue, which is exclusive to the G87 M2. Its twin-turbo 3.0-litre S58 straight-six was rated at 460 PS and 550 Nm, and buyers could still choose a 6-speed manual.

For the 2025 model year, output rose to 480 PS. With the 8-speed automatic, torque also rose, to 599 Nm. Solido models the car in Zandvoort Blue, fitted with Performance Parts.
