Background

The story

The M3 has existed in every 3 Series generation since the E30 of 1986, but the G80/G81 generation brought the first M3 Touring. BMW had built an E46 M3 Touring prototype to test the idea, but it never reached production.

The current M3 uses the twin-turbo S58 straight-six, and all-wheel drive became optional for the first time. The Touring launched directly with BMW's curved dual display and iDrive 8, which the saloon only received for the 2023 model year.

BMW M Performance Parts, such as a carbon-fibre splitter, side skirts and diffuser, canards and an M Performance exhaust, can be fitted to all models. Solido's model wears Performance Parts in Frozen Pure Grey metallic.
