Background

The story

Abarth unveiled its performance version of the new Fiat 500 at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, a year after the Abarth brand was reborn. In 2012 the range grew to include the Abarth 595, offered as Custom, Turismo, Competizione and a Kit Elaborazione, in hatchback or cabriolet form.

The F595 arrived in July 2021. Its 1.4-litre four-cylinder, which Abarth says relies on Formula 4 technology, produces 165 hp and 230 Nm from 2,250 rpm, and breathes through a Record Monza Sovrapposto active exhaust with stacked tailpipes. With the manual gearbox it reaches 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
