Background
The story
The Ford Escort RS Cosworth appeared as the homologation model for the World Rally Championship. Its 2.0-litre turbo made about 220 hp with permanent four-wheel drive, using Sierra RS Cosworth mechanicals under an Escort body with the famous big rear wing. It did 0–100 km/h in about 6 seconds.
