Porsche 911 (992) GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS Package 2023

Porsche announced the 992-generation 911 GT3 RS in August 2022. Its naturally aspirated flat-six produces 525 PS at 8,500 rpm and revs to 9,000 rpm, and the reworked aerodynamics generate 860 kg of downforce at 285 km/h, twice as much as the 991.2 GT3 RS. Part of the rear wing is active, working like Formula 1's DRS.

On 5 October 2022 Jörg Bergmeister lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6:44.848 in a GT3 RS. At the time it was the third-fastest lap ever by a production car.

Later that month, on 21 October 2022, Porsche announced the Tribute to Carrera RS Package, available only in the United States. Based on a GT3 RS with the Weissach Package, it pairs white paint with Python Green accents, including magnesium wheels in Python Green, in honour of the 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7.
