Background

The story

Launched in 1991, the Renault Clio 16S succeeded the Supercinq as Renault's sporty compact. It dropped the turbo for a naturally aspirated 16-valve engine from the Renault 19 16S, reached 212 km/h and did 0–100 km/h in 7.8 seconds.
