Background

The story

The Fast and the Furious, directed by Rob Cohen, was released in the United States on 22 June 2001 and launched a franchise of ten sequels and a spin-off. Undercover officer Brian O'Conner, played by Paul Walker, brings a decrepit Mk4 Supra to Dom Toretto's garage, where the crew restore it; at the end he hands Dom the keys to the 'ten-second car' he owed him.

According to Solido, the film car was designed by Eddie Paul and painted Candy Orange, inspired by the Lamborghini Diablo. It wears 19-inch Dazz Motorsport Racing Hart M5 Tuner wheels, an APR wing, Bomex side skirts, a front bumper made for the film, a TRD bonnet and 'Nuclear Gladiator' graphics by Troy Lee.

The A80 Supra entered mass production in April 1993, and its twin-turbocharged 2JZ-GTE engine produced 280 PS.
